Rail freight transportation is the bread and butter of the Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway Company. We carry freight for 23 customers ranging from manufacturers to distributors, moving as little as a few cars a year to moving thousands per year. We have a well maintained locomotive fleet, and our rail infrastructure can handle 90 car unit trains at 286,000 pounds per car. He acquired the Aberdeen Carolina & Western in 1987 from the Aberdeen & Briarpatch Railway. He has had a lifelong interest in the transportation industry. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Business Management at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jennifer worked for a prominent commercial real estate firm in Charlotte for 3 years.
