The Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway is a shortline or regional freight railroad in North Carolina that connects with both CSX and Norfolk Southern. We run from Pinehurst towards the center of the state, extending westward into Charlotte, and eastward towards Raleigh. Logistically, our railroad is centrally located between all major metropolitan areas in NC, including Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Fayetteville. We are also near population centers in South Carolina such as Columbia, Rock Hill, Greenville, and Spartanburg. You can find our railroad map below.
