Our Track & Rail Infrastructure

The Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway has 150 miles of quality rail infrastructure. We have 141 lb. continuous welded rail on many sections of our railroad, which means dependability and safe handling for our customers. We have spent over $30 Million in the last decade to improve our corridor. Because of these upgrades, our rail infrastructure can handle 90 car unit trains at 286,000 pounds per car.
